His job is to attend morning skates and report what he sees. Of course he may be wrong and Tanev may suit up today and he’s not in the doctor’s room or the coach’s office. He’s just reporting what he saw, which is the most information we have to date on him. It sounds like fans may be disappointed but he doesn’t sound close to ready to return.
