Not sure about the mods side. On one hand the digs at people aren't necessarily ban or warning worthy, but I guess if you add them up over a long period of time (like what Zamler has been dealing with in regards to the EV threads), it just gets to the point where there isn't much purpose in sticking around anymore.
Honestly not sure what to do about any of this. It is to me very much reflective of how the entire world is these days. As soon as you show interest in a subject or post your perspective there will always be people who take shots at you.

You keep bringing this up. Is there a specific example, because I can't think of anyone attacking him. Where his opinions challenged? Sure, that's becuase it's a discussion forum. Not everyone shares the same prognostication for the future. Are we just supposed to agree with his opinion no matter what it is? Is posting an opinion not an invitation for people to discuss it, otherwise why post it? If there were some specific personal attacks that you keep referring too, please point them out. Otherwise it just feels like you are saying opposing opinions are not valid discussion points. And if it looks like a "pile on" maybe it's because no one agrees with that position. That's not an attack, it's just everyone reaching the same conclusion.
