Some optimism ahead of game 3: Flames style of play is better suited on the road, need to put on the hard hat and get to work. Running them out of the building on the scoreboard is not the recipe for success and while they were sharper in game 2, there is still lots of room for improvement.
Also, Sutter now has two games of tape on the Oilers. There wasn’t much time to prepare after the Stars series so I expect adjustments based on personnel and how things have been called through two games.
Oilers have two good lines and two AHL lines. Time for Dube/Jarnkrok/Toffoli to make an impact with the matchups they will get. They’re due.
