Sutter has balls of iron for leaving him in, and it turned out to be a fantastic move, as Markstrom was more positionally sound in the 3rd.

But the bottom line is that goaltending is everything in the playoffs and the only way the Oilers can win the series is if Markstrom is the 2nd best goalie. and last night he was (well, 3rd best, but...)
Sutter definitely deserves more credit than I was willing to give him last night. How different is the narrative today if the Oilers were able to chase Markstrom? As it was he settled down in the third and looked fine. I'm not too worried about anything carrying over for him into the next game.

Smith on the other hand likely has some question marks floating around in his head.
