Haha -- fair enough, you can name the trophy whatever you want although naming it after a player (like the "Mark Messier" award) seemed appropriate. Orr was before my time but my understanding is that there was no defenceman with better offensive ability than him.
The point stands -- best offensive defenceman and best overall defenceman. My only concern is whether voters would actually understand/appreciate the difference; also, while I appreciate the Chris Tanev's of the world, I personally think defensive specialists should be considered under the "overall" category, not their own.
