Oil Stain, I think that is a decent take for sure about everything you said. My main worry is that McDavid does in fact take the next step and starts to hone in on his ability to play a 200 ft game, if he does that, it significantly helps the Oilers. Lets be real though, I have yet to really see him do that in his career.

That injury to Draisaitl is not going to get better in the next week especially if he keeps playing 20 minutes + a game. I've had that injury during a season and I played after a weeks rest, it was taped up like I've never seen before and having any sort of movement or strength to push off from is almost non-existent without pain. You could see him laboring for sure in Game 7, will be interesting to see his skating in game 1. I think the Flames will try to hit him as much as possible knowing this, he will take a beating, I know he is a big guy, so can take a lot but if the Flames can neutralize him, I think the Flames win this series.

McDavid can't win the series on his own playing 25+ minutes a night in the playoffs, against a good defensive team like the Flames.

Either way, it is going to be fun and I think the Flames will win based off having a better defense and a better bottom 6 (ie depth). Right now, it seems Smith is on par with Markstrom, but that could change with the Flames having better 5v5 offense than the Kings.

Who's excited? I can barely work, or do anything else productive since Monday morning and rewatching all the videos from Sunday, oh man that was so exciting!

Go Flames Go! Yeah Baby!
