My heart says Oilers in whatever it takes, but my head says Flames in six.

The injury to Draisaitl will be hard to overcome, and Nurse still wasn't skating like his old self in the Kings series. This could be somewhat countered by the injury to Tanev, but while a great defensive d-man, he doesn't have the same impact on the game as Leon IMO.

Besides that, I feel like the Flames have had more consistent performances throughout the year and consistency wins in the playoffs.

What gives me some hope is that the Kings were 5th in the league in corsi, fenwicks, etc in the regular season and the Oilers managed to beat them in every 5 on 5 possession stat over the course of their last series.

The Flames of course had better possession stats than the Kings and they have some very speedy forwards which could give the Oilers rather immobile D-core fits. Their finishing is also substantially better.

Oilers will need Smith to keep chugging from the fountain of youth, another godly performance by McDavid and some luck to take down this year's Flames. Either way its going to be memorable!
