I honestly think this was worse.
You have to recognize the fact that the 2017 Rockets weren't the favourites to win
anything that year, they were a seriously flawed team with one big star with a history of playoff failure. And they were playing against a Spurs team that even without Kawhi is still the Popovich spurs with a whole bunch of guys who have done it before. This is the Suns, the anointed best team in the NBA by far, the prohibitive favourites to win the championship, with an MVP contender and an all-time hall of fame point guard in one of his better seasons (albeit late in his career) along with a first-overall pick center that dominated all year and the runner-up for defensive player of the year, that already showed they could win in the playoffs by making the finals literally last season... against a Mavs core that prior to this year had never won a series, with a first-year coaching staff and their second-highest paid player out for the year with an injury.
And they're down 30 at the half? That's worse for me.
