It was the best moment I've had inside the Saddledome. An absolutely great moment of people watching as well as I was looking around at the people by me. Hell of a moment after the two years worth of nightmares we all endured.
A dude had his like 2 year old son (or so?) on his lap in front of us wearing ear protection, and the kid was lifted up and giving all the people behind him high-5s.
The guy sitting directly to my left actually left at the end of the 2nd period because he legitimately couldn't cope with the stress/anxiety of it all (felt bad for him).
There was a guy with his teenage daughter behind me who was seemingly in actual shock and couldn't get out of his seat while everyone was jumping around.
I was up jumping and threw my hat into the great beyond.
The actual combination of emotional/physical release was just incredible. Absolutely amazing experience.
