He was pretty good the next year too under Gulutzan, but that whole pair (Kulak-Stone) had low on-ice shooting percentage. Along with the whole rest of the team. I think Stone was injured the whole Peters year.
And then Geoff Ward's passive systems happened and it felt like Stone's career was done.
Props to Stone for bringing back the same level of play we saw when we first acquired him. But also props to Sutter!

Stone was off for a year recovering from a blood clot, was he not?
