The Flames have been the better team in this series, and will win it tomorrow. Getting a lead would be a good way to go about that.

Outside of specific individuals, I feel like 5 on 5 play has been a major concern for this team. 4 of the last 6 periods have belong to the Stars with their forecheck causing major fits for the team’s defensemen.
The team also isn’t as connected as they need to be. The Stars have done a really good job of playing connected and it’s not leaving as many holes for the Flames to exploit.
Markstrom may very well have to stand on his head and out duel a 23 year old superstar in the making and/or the Flames need a Max Domi like performance where someone steps up out of the blue and wills the team to victory. Domi only had 2 assists in 6 games but has taken over game 7 for the Canes. The Flames have plenty of similarly innocuous skaters in their series, so who’s going to step up, steal the show and become a legend?
