The problem is that the initial point of contact was the head. I wouldn't say the primary point of contact though, as Zadorov makes contact throughout the torso, and drives into Glendening's chest.

Finally, Glendening was bent down a fair bit. Not only is Zadorov 6 inches taller, but, because he was bent over, Glendening's entire head was at the level of Zadorov's shoulder. Impossible NOT to make head contact. If Glendening is upright, his head might not have been hit. It is is 6'4", his head would not have been hit.

I don't see how you suspend a guy for that.

But he will be suspended for 1 game.
And in real time, without freeze framing things, it’s indiscernible, as to where that point of contact first is.

What it boils down to and your analysis nails it, is anything Zadorov gets, is for simply being physically bigger than Glendenning.
