Those are all second in the playoffs only to Colorado, the Flames have dominated I pretty much every way outside of shooting percentage.
Flames have shot 5.45% which is last of all playoff teams.
The only thing Dallas has dictated is Oettinger playing great while also having a bunch of luck this series.
Last night Dallas did dictate play for the first time in the series, but that’s to be expected when you are facing elimination. That’s a tough team that wasn’t going to roll over.

What I mean by "dictate play" is that Dallas seems content to bog down the game to low event, extremely tight, perimeter hockey. Flames high pressure, fast paced hockey has been kept under wraps by Dallas.
Clearly it's working for Dallas, and it allows each game to essentially be a coin flip.
Flames worked all year to win the division, get home ice. In the end, it feels disappointing that it feels like it's all for a coin toss, thanks to Dallas getting to play their scheme to a T and the flames just playing into their game plan.
