Dallas were on the brink and did everything they needed to do to extend the series. Flames clearly weren't prepared for that kind of desperation, and just looked lost and uninspired at times. Defensive breakdowns all over the place, bad turnovers, and I'll bet Markstrom probably wants that 1st Dallas goal back, as that was one of the rare softies he's allowed.
Johnny and Stone were by far the best Flames players on the ice tonight. Everyone else needs to be a lot better if this team wants to advance.
Flames know they didn't play well, and I have a feeling they'll be a much different team on Sunday. They'll have to be, as the Stars have demonstrated that they aren't going down without a fight. Gotta hand it to them, they've shown a lot of character in this series.
It's frustrating as hell, but Oettinger just might be on the verge of stealing this series.
