It amazes me in this day and age just how bad people are at minding their own business.
The "d### canoe" comment tells me the writer is someone who probably can't get girls and is sour that that guy is with the girl and not him. People only rip on other people they don't know like that because they're sour about something that person is doing or has and they're triggered by it. There's no other reason for it.
I've taken several girls over the years to games who were casual fans at best, and don't get/comprehend the excitement level of every one else there. Its not at all uncommon. And there's a million different things that can be going on in a girls head that has nothing to do with the writers weirdly specific assumptions there.
Man this playoff run has already brought such a mixed bag of stuff. Whereas '04 was just good vibes alllll the way around.
The smartphone/social media age of nosy, jealous people sucks ass.
It's hard to believe that kind of #### actually bleeds over into people's work.
