I see your video but I don’t think that he meant it. He was going for the shoulder to shoulder hit. He didn’t really drive into it, he just sorta fell that way.
Honestly, they never call checks on McDavid and so this one can get let go. NHL is out to get this guy if there is anything else like a fine or suspension.
There wasn’t even a penalty on the play.

What’s funny is that I’m writing the above and I can’t even believe that people could challenge the head butt. It takes a special kind of disassociation from reality to believe that it’s anything except a head butt. And for those that need it, yes the first part of the post is green text.
