Well, Buck and Aikman are each getting $30M+ each from ESPN.
Brady will be a Fox mascot too, and probably the best known NFL player to anyone who doesn't even watch football, so there's a premium there and I am sure will do cross promotion etc.
Micheals is out at NBC but did he land at Amazon? Collinsworth is holding out for more money.
When spending in the hundreds of billions for rights, 30$M for the best production you can get and people to tune in, seems worth it.
That said, if you're Brady and say 46 when you retire, how about spending time with kids and or enjoy the vaults of money you and your wife have, for a few years? Staying in the football grind and travelling every week to Green Bay to Houston to Chicago to Kansas City to call games in the fall and winter just doesn't seem like a requirement he needs to do. He could call up Fox in 5 years and they'd give him the same deal. Romo took how many years off...took golf more seriously, lived life a bit.
