It's a national broadcast in Canada of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. The idea is that hockey fans, regardless of who they cheer for, should want to see these games. The job is, to the extent possible, make the event seem like an epic struggle, back and forth, both teams leaving it all on the ice. The job is not to cheerlead as if it's a local broadcast in February.
Have some integrity. Call the game, not the home team. Enhance the experience of watching it. Don't shamelessly pander for two and a half hours. That's garbage.
