Dallas did a very good job getting into the Flames heads, somehow goading them into proving how tough they are. I really thought it was the other way around after Klinberg's interview outburst, but Matthew breaking his hand on Klinberg's helmet in game three proves it was the other way around.
And the middle six are not chipping in the way they were built to do. IMO BT did everything he could be reasonably expected to do in bolstering Flames secondary scoring. But Colemen, Toffoli and Jarncrok are not performing as advertised.
Kind of hard to see how this is going to change. Looks like it will be status quo on lines and approach until the series is over.
I'm hearing Sutter say it worked in the regular season therefore will eventually work in the post season, but isn't he also one of the first people to say this is different hockey now?
Is it not worth shuffling the middle six a bit?
