The Flames have been the better five on five team, and an equal powerplay team. They have had the shot generations, shots and chances to be up 3-0 with some bounces and finish.

Oettinger has been able to stop more pucks, but is he outplaying Markstrom?
Hockey is a 52/48 game on most nights, you need some bounces. Oettinger is giving up a lot of rebounds, but they're going over or past sticks. Markstrom had two go straight to Pavelski.
If the Flames wilt like they did against Colorado, it's on them. If they keep playing their game and lose due to finish and bounces it is what it is.
