This whole Ottenger playing out of his mind mentality is hilarious to me.
Very few high danger big saves

Giving up juicy rebounds
Dealing with almost 0 traffic
No deflections put on net
Calgary can’t hit the net half the time

Dallas has 2 deflection goals and 3 rebound goals.
That’s literally the difference, if Calgary gets one bounce or has 1 of these juicy rebounds land on our sticks it’s a completely different series.

I can’t fathom a team with worse luck luck than the Flames.
With that said they need to start hitting the net more with their shots, and playing harder in front of the net.

But this notion that Markstrom is being out goalied is hilarious.
The hype around Ottenger is getting in the heads of the Flames and the fans it seems and it’s working on both.
