I think Gaudreau goes east if the Flames lose. He can get that big money contract and live in obscurity, compared to the high pressure environment in Calgary that he's not able to handle. Maybe he can pull a Phil Kessel and find room on an established contender where he doesn't have to be the main guy, though he'd probably have to leave a lot of money on the table in that situation
