In Game 3, Flames played substantially better than Dallas in Dallas and lost. More importantly, the second period was better than the first. And the third was better than the second.
In Game 1 and 2, the flames played marginally better than Dallas in Calgary and went 1-1. To me that's far more concerning than what happened tonight. Those games were effectively coin-tosses and we got the coin-toss outcome.
It isn't fun being down 2-1. I get it. But Flames are finally playing good hockey and I think they're a substantially better team. Things are looking up.
