The middle six are completely AWOL. But changing the lines isn't going to fix the problem. The Stars are fast on the forecheck, forcing our D to make bad decisions with the puck, usually resulting in turnovers, and they clogging up the middle so it screws up our breakouts.
Flames are also attempting a lot of through Dallas players' legs that get picked off. I didn't comment on it during the regular season because the seemed to be successful, but now those pass attempts are failing a lot.
If the Flames don't change their style to counter Dallas' plans, game 4 and the series is going to be a loss. I love Sutter as a coach, but making this adjustment is all on him.
