It's a horror film in disguise.

Sam Raimi went back to his roots. Lots of tropes of horror films throughout, but disguised as a super hero film. I was genuinely terrified watching Wanda rip through hero after hero without a scratch on her.

Also, this is easily the best mother's day themed movie ever.

Shout out to Bruce Campbell reprising his "possessed hand" motif from the Evil Dead series. Loved the cameo and scene after credits.

I had to add, the scene with the music notes was refreshing and imaginative. I really loved that battle.
