Dramatic loss of Shark populations has led to smaller predators feasting on shellfish and other small marine life which are essential commercial stocks. With no top predators to eat up the medium predators and to keep them in check, the marine ecosystem is in danger of the medium predators gorging themselves on the small fish and shellfish like scallops, clams, etc.
