I'll say this: Dallas has scored ONCE in this series that hasn't been into an empty net, and now it's their series to lose? I'd say they're a bit lucky to be coming out with a split; while they've stuck to their game plan I think it's reasonable to say we've had the edge in play for the most part. Just need to get some better shots on Oettinger and maybe a deflection or bounce that finds its way onto a Flames stick.
Unfortunately, if Dallas is going to play defence first and clog up the middle of the ice, we're going to have to get used to playing these tight, low scoring games. Sutter won't mind that but it's not exactly the greatest hockey to watch...

We've lost close games and Dallas hasn't been that good either but for me the difference is Johnny. I don't know how many times I've heard a big hit in any game where the camera has moved up ice but the player who made the pass got plastered very late off camera. This is playoff hockey and I'm not complaining but as soon as the playoffs start the Refs let late hits go. As soon as the playoffs start Johnny knows this and he starts to play scared. If he thinks he might take a big hit, he is getting rid of the puck immediately. We will not do any damage in the playoffs without the puck on Johnny's stick. It was all regular season.
If we have any chance we will need depth scoring, play great defence and get some PP goals. But the Stars arguably as one of the worst teams in the playoffs. If we were playing a good team I'm thinking it will be one of those series where we completely get outmatched
