If the Flames go deep and Gaudreau contributes he’s very possibly going to get the 8-year, $10 million a year contract people were talking about in the regular season.

It sounds nuts, but a poor playoff run could easily cost Gaudreau 10s of millions.
I don't think it is crazy. I think Johnny has been ok but I was going to mention after game 1's win, as soon as the playoffs starts Johnny starts making decisions with or without the puck that prevents him from taking a big hit. In the playoffs the refs are letting very late hits go and they do every year. If Johnny thinks he might get hit he is getting rid of the puck too quick. These passes aren't making through the center of the ice and often going back the other way. Unless he starts playing like he did in the regular season or close to it I don't see him as a 10+ mil player.

Oettinger played well but he really wasn't challenged either. Hopefully Johnny can figure it out and really Tkachuk hasn't been great either. Lindholm is the best player on this team

Of course it really sucks because if the Flames don't fork out the cash Johnny walks and Tkachuk will be gone soon too.
