Will it though?

I'd be curious to know how many people watch the same channel game 1 through game 2 start to finish. Especially on a weeknight.

Game 1 I went to bed after the 1st, if the game started an hour earlier I'd be more likely to watch the whole game.

Also, I didn't watch the early game. I watched baseball then switched over.

Sure you get channel surfers but the start time is irrelevant as they're surfing.

In 2022 I honestly don't think viewership works the way your suggesting anymore (but will concede if I'm wrong, and will concede that though I personally don't like it, it's the right way to go).
