Goal scoring feats don't equal MVP.
Leafs are a loaded team. They wouldn't be screwed without Matthews.
Johnny stirs the drink here, and did something arguably as impressive with his even strength production.
McDavid and Matthews are likely never to enter that conversation because they're PP darlings.
Nashville wouldn't be where they are without Josi and his season might be the most impressive by a d-man since the Karlsson Ottawa days and even surpass those.
Huberdeau and Josi would make sense to me. McDavid even makes more sense than Matthews.
