If / when I plan a trip, what time of the year is best? I would like to hit decent weather, would not have to be middle of summer because I enjoy that time in Alberta.
Our weather is regulated by the ocean so it doesn't usually get too hot, or too cold. But it means we don't get a lot of dog days of summer weather.

July through September is usually great weather. September is often our best month.

October has decent weather and the fall colors. Celtic Colours International Music Festival is in October.

If you're in Sydney, be sure to check out trivia night at the Breton Brewing Company on Thursdays. Regardless check them out, they have the best beer, better staff, and us regulars love chatting with folks from away.

If you're going to trivia book a table early in the week. (Also let me know, if I'm not hosting I'll be sure the host/regulars/bar staff will treat you well).
