Is it the dinosaurs themselves that are threatening the extinction of mankind? That seems silly. I mean dinosaurs would be impossible to fight if you were unarmed....but if you had militaries with high calibre rifle rounds, they wouldn't stand a chance. Also, I get that they are smart, but they are still animals that could be baited into traps.
Is there some kind of other overarching threat (global warming?), and the dinosaurs just happen to be around mucking things up in the chaos? I really hope they don't go back into the genetic manipulation well, and have something ridiculous like the dinosaurs spreading a virus that denatures human DNA. This series needs to stop using the lame DNA monster trope.
