Well, when people are talking about Heroin beer (the narcotics you seemed to be implying are caused by bacteria in the line), I don't think people are referring to how skunky the beer is.

People have claimed for years that Heroine beer gets you drunker because it ferments in the long lines. What you said was right in line with what people have incorrectly been saying for a long, long time.

In fact, here's a whole thread from a while back where folks debunked exactly that thought because the myth was so prevalent.
It even has posts where people still claim that it is/was due to the lines not being cleaned.
