Looked a little further into WC2 scenarios.

If Vegas wins tonight and wins vs Dallas in regulation then they would own the tie breakers if both teams won their final two games (or have the same record in the final two).

So Vegas can guarantee getting in if they win out. Any less and it's extremely iffy.
