The answers here are not incorrect, but incomplete. Standard video is shot at a shutter speed that yields an amount of motion of motion blur that would be inappropriate for a still image. If you're struggling, that may be the issue, and it takes complex processing to remove motion blur from an image.

If you haven't captured the video yet, you'll want to ensure the camera is set up with a high shutter speed (i.e. high frame rate and/or small shutter angle). How fast you'll need to go will depend on how much movement is in what you're capturing. You'll need to shoot in brighter light than usual to make this work.
