Get on your knees!
Not at all. You CHOOSE to be there... first your parents choose, and ultimately at the Junior High or High School level, the students choose. Therefore you are accepting that doctrine. If you don't like it, you are free to go elsewhere. I hardly call morning prayer and the occasional assembly for important religious holidays demanding people "on their knees." It promoted discipline, and frankly, none of my Catholic school friends are very religious at all... due LARGELY from attending catholic school. Our parents put us there because it was a better quality of education.

I proudly went to Catholic School from K-12... I don't bible thump, in fact, I learned some of the greatest criticisms of Christianity from High School Religion. Catholic Schools in Alberta have a much higher level of achievement than public, and thats proven at every provincial exam level. Only expensive private schools do better.

As for Catholic Schools teaching creationism. It'll never happen. Firstly, the department of education wouldn't allow it, and secondly, Catholics are much more liberal in their interpretation of the Bible than these nuts.
