Let’s not pretend he was some offensive juggernaut before Johnny.
Monny would have been a good player without Johnny (or a Patrick Kane type), but he wouldn’t have been nearly as productive.

I think it's interesting to wonder who Johnny's rookie year would have gone with Sean...who jumped to 1st among forwards with 19:37 TOI ahead of #2 Hudler at 18:01.
Do we think either these pairings are combining for 62 goals: Backlund-Hudler or Colborne-Hudler?

What is this argument even about? Its like 2 different conversations
Going to be waiting for a long time for 20 from Monahan me thinks

Monahan had 6G 4EVG 9P in his first 8 gp. 16G 15EVG 25P in his other 67 games is still a 20G/31P pace over 82.
Games 1-24: 9G 15P 16:09
-then he missed a little over two weeks (hairline fracture in foot, which he played on for at least 2 games)
25-51: 7G 9P 14:21
- then Olympic break
52-75: 6G 10P 17:39
Even if I made each third exactly 25 games it paints the same picture. It wasn't a dramatic slowdown as much as he just started on a heater.
