Injuries have decimated his career and it's brutal how many fans have turned on him. Especially the ones who always inaccurately believed that his success was solely due to playing with Gaudreau, and are now using his fall from grace as justification for that false belief.
Such a shame. Hopefully he can get healthy and bounce back.

I hope he bounces back to, but I don't think it will be here. I wish him nothing but the best though, seems like a genuinely great human being. Unlike many of the fans who seem to have all the information about every scenario of his career to draw their conclusions..
