I watched Eddie Olczyk on TNT last night, and he pretty much babbled stories in an interesting way for the entire broadcast. It was like watching a baseball game. I think that this is what turns people off of Cassie, is that she just doesn't have a natural cadence. She works really well as a panelist or interviewer, because the cadence is not necessary. (This is content aside, as that is a matter of taste whether her takes bother anyone)
Someone like Jamie McClennon would be a good color guy. Cory Sarich probably wouldn't be. Just that natural rhythm. When you watch a lot of hockey, eventually you make strong opinions as a viewer. Don Cherry received way more hate, and an argument could be made that it was ageist.
Or maybe it's all about dicks. I don't know.
Also, really liked Sandra and hope she gets a bigger role on the Fan.
