Markstrom has been the second best goalie on the ice lately and he is paid to be better than that.
St. Louis allowed Backlund and Gaudreau to both walk the puck right to the front of the net in the third. Husso made both saves so nobody is sitting her saying the Blues defensive coverage was terrible.
Markstrom needs a rest.

You aren't wrong, but I'd argue those Backlund and Gaudreau chances driving from the outside are easier to stop for a goalie than a onetimer backdoor or a pass to a player all alone in the slot for the back-breaking goal.
Mangi fed Toffoli for an empty net onetimer that Toffoli missed, I don't recall others of a similar fashion that Husso had to make a miraculous save on. We didn't have the same types of high danger chances that we allowed all game IMO.
