I didn't like the original Blade Runner, either. Like, I fataing hated it, in fact. BR2049 being that good, though? IDK, maybe one day when we're old and retired we'll get together and watch that one and you can explain to me what I'm missing. There must be a style of sci-fi (Dune, BR2049, etc.) that I am just not appreciating and I don't know why. Both of those movies (and Mad Max) I was actually angry sitting in the theater feeling like the movie was actively stealing minutes away from my life. So it's not like I just didn't like them...I actually hated them to the point where they ruined my day. Yet you and some other people love them. I can't reconcile that.

Hey here's a question since you like sci-fi (that's my favourite movie genre, too)...what did you think of Ad Astra? I liked it and it was a really slow burn, so it's not like I'm not capable of taking in a slow-moving movie. My wife thought it was really boring, as did most people I've talked to about it.

Ad Astra was the dopiest movie outside of a Nickelodean kids film I have ever seen, totally non sensical
