Yeah, I'm surprised people are still wowed by CGI. That shouldn't carry a movie. At this point, I just expect the physical setting of a movie to look real, so I don't blow my load all over the place when a fantastical setting does look real. I'm there for a story and character development. Without those, you just have a snooze fest. Good for the non-thinkers in the audience, but for the rest of us we need a little more.
