I was able to see all movies nominated for Best Picture this year and rooted for CODA. It was by far the best story, it was kind, unpretentious and very believable. To be fair, none of the nominated movies were outstanding; but CODA was better than every other one.

To EE's point, when something like Dune or Westside Story get nominated – I just don't know what to say anymore. Either the Academy nominating committee have lost their minds, or they have nothing better to nominate, which is even sadder, or it is all corrupted and lobbied, which is disgusting.
