Its a legal loophole - so bully to them for doing it (even though it is going to backfire on them). But I just don't see how any can be convinced that wasn't their plan all along.

For me I would need to see proof that a doctor had cleared a player to play but Vegas kept them on LTIR after that. Or proof that their doctors were purposely misdiagnosing players on the team's behalf.
In the absence of any of this all we have is pure speculation and posters going off a gut feeling.
Also, it's not even a loophole. It was designed to work this way. It's written clear as day how this works. Vegas is using the system exactly as intended. I think there's a fair debate to be had over if this system is a good system or not, but it isn't a loophole. It's available for all teams to use, and given the chance I'd hope the Flames would use it too.
