In the past 10 years Tiger woods have two PGA victories (I am excluding the ZoZo which isnt exactly a PGA event)

He went 7 years without a win and then through extensive rehab managed to rebuild his body and become the 2nd? oldest player to win a major at the time. That was 3 years ago

Even after the Major win his body was breaking down again.

Then he has a horrific car crash 14 months ago mangeling his leg. He is lucky he can walk.

He is 46 years old, already had a failing body, is coming off a life threatening injury, and hasn't trained in 2 years effectively. He isn't sure he could walk four round of golf

Tiger woods isn't focusing on getting back into PGA shape and winning an event. His body is done. He is focusing on getting to a place of mental healthiness and golfing with his son. He has no delusions he will ever win a PGA event again. (He literally said "I will never play golf full time again)

There is a better chance Charlie Woods wins a PGA event then Tiger Woods going forward.
Why wouldn't the Zozo count? It's a full fedex point tournament with a stacked field. He had a pretty great 2018 season.

You might be right and he never contends again, as he does have a whole lot of things to overcome. He didn't say he wouldn't golf full time again. He said he'd never be full time on the pga tour.

I'd guess he still has some hope that he can prepare for the majors and a couple tour events a year with a chance to win. It sure looks like signs are pointing to him playing the masters this year, so he must think he has somewhat of a chance to compete.
