Part of being a guy that a woman feels safe with is being able to stand up for her, but not taking it too far or going totally unhinged.
It's about having that side under control.
Most women would be scared/repulsed by their own partner for behaving that way. Especially given the very public, formal setting.
Wouldn't surprise me of she was just turned on though. Hollywood's a #####ed up place and the egos are on another level.
