Serious question, is a reverse hit even legal though? You aren't allowed to hit players with who don't have the puck, or haven't had it.
So why can a player with thepuck stop, and reverse momentum into the player coming towards them? Don't get me wrong, it happens a lot, and also two players racing for an open puck often engage prior to getting to it, and penalties don't seem to get called. But technically speaking, is it actually allowed, checking a player who doesn't have and never had the puck?
