He's got sneaky good vision, looks to be Backlund-esque in his defensive responsibility, and is a really hard worker. Give it some time with Mang and Coleman and that line will be a Sutter staple IMO.
I just don’t think he has much in the way of offensive chops (I wondered about people’s expectations for him that way). I do think he and everyone else needs to be settled on a line for a while. Even Tkachuk, who looked good on the Backlund line, to me has greater chemistry on the top line.

I get that Sutter maybe feels like the team is in a comfortable position and he can experiment. But the top line got caved in last night, there was not a lot happening offensively in the bottom 6. I really only liked the second line consistently. I feel like whatever lines Sutter goes with need time to develop chemistry.
