I said VGK on the hook for his full salary. Which is of course a bit ridiculous, but it would be my negotiating anchor if I were Dadonov/the PA.
Voiding the trade is the simplest answer, but IMO Dadonov has at least a bit of an argument that VGK breached his contract, moreso than the Kadri situation. VGK should face some sort of punishment.

If you block a relocation as an employee you stay with your current work division. You don't become a 'FA" (Unless those are the 2 options (Layoff,etc) which doesnt exist in NHL contracts)

No, he's upholding the contract he signed which forbade relocation to certain locations. They could trade him somewhere else, or wait until the off-season to buy him out.
