Lagesson isn't "good", but he was one of the few d men up there that would take the body and could play at least somewhat in their own zone. I recall in the last Flames/Oilers game he drilled someone into the boards behind the Oilers net.
Oilers add zero depth by moving out an iffy 5-6-7 guy for an ok-in-stretches 5-6-7 guy, plus lose a second round pick. That's some kinda brilliant asset management up there. Some would even say "no good".
